Just remember, that we are only human and it's okay to make mistakes. We learn and grow from our mistakes. You are successful when you realize that it is okay to make mistakes, and that you can pick yourself up and start right where you left off. Failure happens when you do not try again. Just because you ate something not vegetarian or vegan, it does not mean you are no longer a vegetarian or vegan. Maybe you cook for your family, elder parents or neighbors and they are not vegetarian or vegan. This does not mean you are not a vegetarian or vegan because you cook meals with meat and/or dairy products for them.. Many vegans and vegetarians must take care of sick or elderly parents who do not follow the same lifestyle. We must cook their meals and provide care for them - this is being compassionate and providing compassion. Being compassionate is part of being a vegan and vegetarian; and, by providing for them is showing compassion and love.
You know whom and who you are as a vegetarian or vegan. Let no one tell you otherwise that you are not if you make a mistake, or cook for family who are not vegetarians or vegans. You are still a role model who is showing compassion in many ways to all God's living creatures.
